Download

Two things first, then three steps.

SponsorJobs runs on your own computer. The installer is free, needs no account to browse jobs, and includes the bundled AI with three tailored applications a month. The buttons point at the latest release on GitHub.

Installers

macOS

Apple Silicon (M1 and later). Intel Macs: run it from source, below.

Version, size and date load from GitHub

Download the .DMG

Every build, with checksums and release notes, is on the releases page. Linux, Intel Macs, or you would rather build it yourself: the README covers running from source in about ten minutes.

Before you install

LaTeX. SponsorJobs typesets your resume with it, so it has to be on the machine. The steps below give the one command for each system.

An AI key, community edition only. If you run from source, the first-run setup asks for an Anthropic or OpenAI key and keeps it on your computer. The installed app needs no key: the AI is included.

macOS Apple Silicon

  1. Install LaTeX. In Terminal: brew install --cask mactex-no-gui
  2. Download the .dmg, open it, and drag SponsorJobs to Applications.
  3. On first open, macOS says it cannot verify the developer. Open System Settings, Privacy & Security, and click Open Anyway. Once.

The app is not yet signed with an Apple Developer certificate, which is why macOS asks. The source is public, so you can check what you are opening.

Windows 10 or later, 64-bit

  1. Install LaTeX: MiKTeX. Let it install missing packages on the fly.
  2. Download SponsorJobs-Setup.exe and run it.
  3. SmartScreen may warn that the publisher is unknown. Click More info, then Run anyway.

The installer is not yet code-signed, which is why SmartScreen asks.

Which edition is which

The installer is the SponsorJobs edition: sign in, the AI is included, three tailored applications a month free, passes for more. Your data still lives on your computer.

From source is the community edition: the same engine under the AGPL-3.0, with your own AI key and no limits. You pay your AI provider directly for what you use.
